OFFICIAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS / RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE “TAKE A HEALTH BREAK” CONTEST FROM ATLANTIC LOTTERY CORPORATION (“ALC”)

The 2chance.ca “TAKE A HEALTH BREAK” contest provides existing and new alc.ca members with a chance to win a $1,500 prize pack. The prize is a Segway-Ninebot G30P MAX Adult Electric Scooter, Segway-Ninebot Helmet and Lock Set. Players can enter by updating a voluntary limit tool on alc.ca. Updating the Wager Limit or updating the Session Time Limit will earn one (1) entry into the contest. Players can earn up to a maximum of two (2) entries during the contest period. Active alc.ca players who have an active Wager Limit and/or Session Time Limit prior to the contest period will be automatically entered into the draw. Maximum of two (2) entries per player.

The contest period starts on September 11, 2023 at 12:00:00 p.m. AT and ends on September 24, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. AT. Entrants must have a verified alc.ca account.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter this contest:

  1. Update a Wager Limit on alc.ca to be entered for a chance to win an Electric Scooter Prize Pack. The package includes a Segway-Ninebot G30P MAX Adult Electric Scooter, Segway-Ninebot Helmet and Lock Set. Receive one (1) automatic entry into the draw for a chance to win.
  2. Update a Session Time Limit on alc.ca to be entered for a chance to win a Segway Ninebot G30P Max Adult Electric Scooter & Helmet. Receive one (1) automatic entry into the draw for a chance to win.
  3. All players with active Wager Limits or Session Time Limits by the close time of the contest are eligible to win. This includes alc.ca players who set a Wager Limit or Session Time Limit before the contest period. Active alc.ca players who set a Wager Limit or a Session Time Limit before the contest period are automatically entered to win.
  4. Players must have the limit(s) set by the close time of the contest in order to qualify for the draw.
  5. Players can earn up to two (2) entries during the contest period.

PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY

  1. The contest is sponsored by Atlantic Lottery Corporation and is open to residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, who are nineteen (19) years of age or older and reside in Atlantic Canada at the time of entry and draw with the following exceptions: Current employees of Atlantic Lottery Corporation (including Red Shores Racetrack & Casino), or of any promotional agency involved with this promotion, and any Immediate Family members of any of these employees, which employees and their Immediate Family members shall be ineligible to participate in and/or claim any reimbursable prize for this contest.
    1.1 “Immediate Family” means the spouse, sibling, parent and/or child of an employee referred to above who resides with that employee.
  2. Players must have the limit(s) set by the close time of the contest in order to qualify for the draw.
  3. Contestants must have a valid alc.ca account.
  4. ALC, in its complete discretion, may disqualify an alc.ca member from participation in this contest and/or may refuse to award a prize under this contest to the participant if that participant’s membership on alc.ca is, or at any point throughout the Contest Period has been, suspended.
  5. Any individual who has falsified their registration information will be ineligible to receive any prize upon winning.

NO PURCHASE ENTRY

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest.

DRAWS AND PRIZES

  1. If the potential winner has not contacted ALC within 24 hours of being contacted, ALC shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner and the next potential winner will be contacted. ALC shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. Government issued photo identification must be provided for proof of identification and age. If the winner is under the age of 19, they will be disqualified, and the next potential winner will be contacted.
  2. Prize Package: a Segway-Ninebot G30P MAX Adult Electric Scooter, Segway-Ninebot Helmet and Lock Set.
  3. The draw will take place on September 28, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.
  4. An entrant can only win one (1) prize.
  5. Winner can instead choose a cash prize payout of $1500.00 (CDN) in cash issued by ALC in the form of an EFT payment (direct deposit in their bank).
  6. The prize is non-transferable.
  7. This promotion is only valid during the contest period on September 11, 2023 at 12:00:00 p.m. AT and ends on September 24, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. AT

ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning the grand prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period.

DELIVERY OF PRIZES

The winner will be notified by email or phone.

Winner must provide their info (picture ID and proof of age) via email within 24 hours of being contacted; failure to do this will result in the winner waiving his/her right to the prize.

WINNERS AND WIN NOTIFICATIONS

Potential winners must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions to be declared a winner and be eligible to claim a prize.

To be declared a winner, a participant must have an alc.ca account, in good standing, at the time of the relevant draw(s). Any participants whose account has been closed, suspended, cancelled or that is otherwise not in good standing at the time of the relevant draw(s), will forfeit any active Contest entries and will not be eligible to win a prize.

Potential winners will be notified using the contact information provided at time of registration. Participants are responsible for ensuring their contact information is up to date under their alc.ca account.

AL will initially contact potential winners within two (2) business days after the draw and if receipt of eligibility info is not received within 1 day after initial contact, ALC shall have the right to disqualify the entry. In these cases, the alternate entry drawn immediately after the disqualified entry will be eligible to win the prize. ALC is fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in these cases.

Winners must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill testing question. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Winners must also complete a declaration and release confirming eligibility and compliance with these Rules and Regulations and release ALC and their shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability in connection with the conduct of the Contest or the awarding of prizes before being eligible to claim a prize. This includes a publicity release that grants ALC, and their affiliates the right, but not the obligation, to use, edit or adapt their photograph, filmed or recorded image, name and city of residence in any publicity campaigns, whether such campaigns are related to 2Chance or not, without further notice or compensation. Failure to complete these forms will result in disqualification.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Winners must answer a skill testing question.
  2. Members who have registered through fraudulent means or have provided false or misleading information will be disqualified.
  3. ALC reserves the right to disqualify any participant they find to be tampering with entries or the draw process or acting in violation of these Rules and Regulations.
  4. ALC will not be responsible for failed entry attempts for any reason whatsoever.
  5. ALC and their affiliated and related companies, advertising, internet and promotional agencies, independent contest organization, prize suppliers and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns - are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the promotion or administration of 2Chance, including but not limited to:
    • Errors in advertising,
    • Rules and Regulations,
    • The selection and announcement of winners, or
    • The distribution of prizes.
  6. By entering this contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Atlantic Lottery Corporation, retailers of Atlantic Lottery Corporation (collectively “Released Parties”), and the shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the Released Parties from any claim, loss, expense, or other liability arising from participation in this promotion or the awarding, acceptance or use of any prize awarded under the promotion.
  7. Decisions of Atlantic Lottery Corporation with respect to this contest are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, and procedure.
  8. Atlantic Lottery Corporation has the right, at its sole discretion, to make prize substitutions of equivalent kind and value in the event of unavailability of any specified prize for reasons beyond Atlantic Lottery Corporation control. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
  9. Winner must accept the prize as awarded.
  10. By entering the contest, the winner agrees to allow Atlantic Lottery Corporation and its agents/partners to publish, and/or broadcast their name, likeness, addresses, voices, statements and submitted photographs without compensation other than the prize awarded. The winner will be required to execute a consent allowing publication and/or broadcast of their name, likeness, voice, statements, and photographs without compensation.
  11. All entries become the property of Atlantic Lottery Corporation who assume no responsibility for garbled, illegible, lost, late, delayed, destroyed, or misdirected mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. ALC does/do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed, or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof.  Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of ALC, in its/their sole discretion, the promotion is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the promotion is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its/their control, ALC reserves its/their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend or suspend the promotion including canceling any method of entry, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. ALC reserves their right to modify the official rules and regulations of this contest without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. ALC reserves their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these official rules and regulations or otherwise in a disruptive manner.
  12. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his/her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age, and home address) by ALC for the purposes of implementing, administering, and fulfilling this promotion. ALC will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this contest. ALC is committed to ensuring the privacy of its players and taking all the necessary precautions to ensure player information is safeguarded. In all cases, information is retained in secure facilities and protected from unauthorized access. ALC will only use or disclose player information for the specific purposes for which it was collected, unless required by law, and will only retain the information long enough to fulfill these purposes, after which time it will be securely destroyed.
  13. These official rules govern the contest and must be followed. In the event of any discrepancy between these official rules and any other material, these rules prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
  14. Atlantic Lottery is not responsible for commencing, continuing, or completing the “TAKE A HEALTH BREAK” contest or awarding the prize in the event of circumstances beyond the control of Atlantic Lottery.
  15. All draws will adhere to the draw procedures established for the draw by Atlantic Lottery.
  16. These official rules govern the promotion and must be followed. In the event of any discrepancy between these official rules and any other material, these rules prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
  17. Winner must be at least 19 years of age.
  18. Requests for official Contest Terms and Conditions or names of prize winner(s) can be mailed to Atlantic Lottery, PO Box 5500, 922 Main St., Moncton, NB, E1C 8W6 (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included).
