Why does the login process look different this year?

Starting May 1, 2019, you will need to sign in to 2Chance using an alc.ca Player Account. To sign in, simply enter the email and password associated with your alc.ca account. If you do not have an alc.ca account:

I forgot my alc.ca sign in information. Now what?

No problem. You can reset your password by going to the Forgot Password page.

Why can't I sign in? The site is not recognizing my information.

Make sure you are using the email and password associated with your alc.ca Player Account. If that is still not working, you may have entered your sign in information incorrectly. Check that you haven't made any typos and your Caps Lock is off. Also, make sure you haven't entered any spaces. If you continue to have an issue, reset your password now.

Can you send me my password?

Click the "Forgot Password" link on the Sign In page and enter the email address for your alc.ca account. We will send you an email with a link to reset your password.

What if I need to change my phone number or other account information?

When you are signed in to your alc.ca account, click on "My Account" and from the drop-down menu click “My Profile” to review and update your profile information, then hit “Update”.

What if I still can’t access my account?

If you are still having trouble accessing your account, call 1-877-252-3287 or email info@alc.ca and we will be happy to assist you.

Contest and Entry

How do I enter 2Chance draws?

The 2Chance contest is open to Atlantic Canadian residents 19 years of age or older who have an active and verified alc.ca account. Sign in or create an alc.ca Player Account at 2Chance.ca and enter your eligible 2Chance tickets to earn contest entries. Every $2 worth of eligible winning and non-winning Scratch ’N Win tickets, draw tickets, sports tickets and purchases made on alc.ca will earn you one flex entry to the prize draw of your choice, plus one entry in the monthly cash draw. Plus, every flex entry you assign will also earn you one entry into the $100,000 Grand Prize draw. Please see the Rules and Regulations for further information.

How do I know if my ticket is eligible for a 2Chance.ca Contest?

Please check the Rules and Regulations for the latest list of eligible tickets. Please note that eligible tickets or online games at alc.ca can be added/changed throughout the contest. All eligible Scratch ’N Win tickets can be located on alc.ca under Our Games.

How many tickets can I enter a day?

There is no ticket limit, but you are only able to enter 299 tickets per session.

Where is my VAL. # and ticket barcode on Scratch 'N Win tickets?

The placement of the codes varies from ticket to ticket but the 21-digit code will typically be found on the bottom of the ticket and the 4-digit VAL. # will always be found under the scratched play area on the ticket.

Where is my code on draw and sports tickets?

The 25-digit alpha-numeric code will be printed on the bottom of your draw or sports ticket under the 2Chance logo.

How do I earn entries from my alc.ca account?

Entries from eligible online purchases made on alc.ca will be automatically entered in your 2Chance account within 24 hours of the purchase time.

When are 2Chance prizes drawn?

Please check the Prizes page for dates on active draws. All prize waves start at 12:00:00 am AT and end at 11:59:59 pm AT on the last day of the prize period unless otherwise specified in the Rules and Regulations. See Rules and Regulations for additional details.

What is a ticket bonus?

At any time, a specific eligible ticket or tickets may be in bonus mode. The dollar value of the eligible ticket will be multiplied when entered in 2Chance. Check the Promotions page regularly and sign up for emails to see if there are any tickets in bonus mode!

Draws and Prizes

How do I earn entries into the monthly draws?

Every $2 worth of eligible winning and non-winning Scratch 'N Win tickets, draw tickets, sports tickets and purchases made on alc.ca will earn you an entry into the monthly cash draw.

How do I earn flex entries into the prize draws?

Every $2 worth of eligible winning and non-winning Scratch 'N Win tickets, draw tickets, sports tickets and purchases made on alc.ca will earn you a flex entry that you can allocate to the active Pick your Prize draw of your choice.

Flex entries earned from alc.ca purchases will take up to 24 hours after purchase to appear in your 2Chance account. Due to the slight delay in flex entries appearing in your 2Chance account, flex entries earned on the final day of each wave of prizes will be assigned to the next wave. Refer to the Rules and Regulations for a schedule for all the prize wave cut-off dates. Eligible alc.ca purchases must be made by 11:59:59 pm AT on March 30, 2020, to participate. Eligible Scratch ’N Win, draw and sports tickets can be entered until the close of the contest on March 31, 2020, at 11:59:59 pm AT.

How do I earn entries into the $100,000 Grand Prize draw?

You will earn one entry in the $100,000 Grand Prize draw for every flex entry assigned to the Pick your Prize draws. You will have until March 31, 2020, to earn entries into the Grand Prize draw.

Do my flex entries go towards all the prize draws?

Flex entries go towards the active contests you assign them to. Each prize has its own flex entries associated with it as indicated on the Prizes page.

Can I move my flex entry choice?

No, once you have allocated your flex entries to a draw, they cannot be moved to another prize draw.

What happens to my flex entries if they are not allocated to a prize?

You must allocate them to an active prize draw before the 2Chance Contest Period closes on March 31, 2020. Unused flex entries will expire at that time and will not be included in the $100,000 Grand Prize draw.

What kind of prizes can I win?

Do I need to keep my tickets to show when I claim a prize?

We encourage all participants to keep the tickets they have submitted into the contest for the duration of the contest period to validate against the contest account. However, participants will not be required to show the tickets in order to claim or redeem contest prizes. Winners will be required to follow the winner's process whereby proof of residency and identification will be required and must match the contest registration information.

When will winners be contacted?

2Chance potential winners will be contacted by telephone or email within one week of the current draw, or as soon as possible thereafter. The winners are required to complete prize documentation and provide proof of identity (age and province of residence) before they are determined to be eligible. All winners must return any documentation, emails or calls within a specific time period to remain eligible to win a prize. For full details, check the Rules and Regulations.

How will potential winners be contacted?

A representive from Atlantic Lottery will contact these players by phone and/or email. Make sure your account information is up to date.
