JACKPOT OFFICIAL CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS”)

ATLANTIC LOTTERY CORPORATION (ALC)

Over a 12-month period beginning on April 7, 2021 12:00am AT to March 31st, 2022 11:59:59 pm (“Contest Period”) Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) will be offering a category of Scratch’N Win tickets that are also eligible to be entered into a contest for a series of three (3) progressive jackpot drawings housed online within ALC’s existing 2chance.ca web site. Only the three (3) tickets that comprise the Jackpot Category are eligible to enter to the progressive draws promotion. The contest online progressive jackpot prizes are in addition to the lottery prizing that ALC offers on the scratch tickets. Each of the three (3) printed Jackpot scratch tickets will be clearly marked as being eligible towards the online progressive jackpot contest. The rules and regulations pertaining to each of the three (3) Jackpot Scratch’N Win tickets, including play instructions, prize payout and odds of winning can be found below and on the back of the individual printed tickets.

1. ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS

The Jackpot Category of tickets are the only tickets eligible to participate in this contest and is comprised of the following three (3) scratch tickets:

Ticket Price: Game Name: Game Number:
$5 $100,000 Jackpot 3215
$10 $500,000 Jackpot 3238
$20 $1,000,000 Jackpot 3239

All three Jackpot tickets will be in-market from April 7th, 2021 to March 31st, 2022. During the Contest Period, players that enter any one of these tickets online at 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot earn entries into the contest and increase the value of the current progressive jackpot until it reaches $1,000,000, as outlined in Section 3.

2. PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT DRAWS

Three (3) progressive jackpot contest draws, one (1) for each of the three (3) Entry Periods referred to below, will be conducted from amongst all entries received during each Entry Period. The three (3) contest draws during the 12-month period established by ALC will be comprised of any combination of Fixed Date Draws and Capped Draws. If the progressive jackpot has not reached $1,000,000 at the time of any of the Entry Cutoff Dates as referred to below, ALC will conduct a Fixed Date Draw within two (2) days of the applicable Entry Cutoff Date or as soon as possible thereafter; if the progressive jackpot reaches $1,000,000 any time before the Entry Cutoff Date, this will immediately trigger a Capped Draw within two (2) days of ALC determining that the $1,000,000 cap has been reached or as soon as possible thereafter (which Capped Draw will replace a Fixed Date Draw for that Entry Period).

  • Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Dates (also referred to as “Entry Cutoff Dates”) – scheduled at four-month intervals, the three (3) Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Dates are July 31st, 2021, November 30th, 2021 and March 31st, 2022, as further described in Figure 1 below. The value of each progressive jackpot prize will be based on total contributions from player entries up to each of the Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Dates, as described further below. The draw for a Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Date only occurs if the progressive jackpot does not reach $1,000,000 before this date.
  • Capped Draws – the prize for each progressive jackpot draw will be capped at $1,000,000 each. One Capped Draw will be conducted for each time the value of the progressive jackpot prize reaches $1,000,000 on or before the applicable Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Date.
  • Note - Entries for each draw are discarded after each draw and do not qualify or participate in future draws. For the final Entry Cutoff Date scheduled for March 31st, 2022, if the progressive jackpot reaches $1,000,000 before the Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Date, a draw will not be immediately triggered and instead the draw will occur on the Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Date for that Draw Period (players can still gain entries into this draw prior to the draw but the prize will remain capped at $1,000,000).

Prize draws will occur according to the Figure 1 table for Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Dates (each of the three (3) time periods set out in Figure 1 as Progressive Jackpot Series 1, 2 and 3 each being an “Entry Period” as further described in these Terms and Conditions). There are three (3) “Prize Draws”, one for each Entry Periods:

Figure 1:

Progressive Jackpot Series: Entry Cut-Off Dates: Draw Date:

3
March 31st, 2022 at 11:59:59 pm AT

Entries entered in a Draw Period prior to a Fixed Date Entry Cutoff Date will be assigned to that Progressive Jackpot Series draw and will not carry over into subsequent draws for this contest. Entries earned by entering the Eligible Products will appear immediately in the player’s 2Chance account once the tickets have been successfully entered and the monetary contribution to the progressive jackpot will be reflected immediately in the total jackpot value for that Draw Period. At each Entry Cutoff Date, the progressive jackpot series ends and a new series opens with a starting value of $10,000.

All draws will adhere to the draw procedures established by ALC and will be conducted according to the schedule in Figure 1, or as soon as possible thereafter.

At time of draw, alternate entries will be drawn immediately after. If an entry is disqualified by ALC, the alternate entry will be declared the potential winner. ALC reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not abide by these Terms & Conditions.

ALC is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing a draw or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond the control of ALC.

Participants are eligible to win more than one (1) prize within the entire Contest Period. ALC is under no obligation to re-draw for unclaimed prizes.

3. PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT ENTRY

There are two (2) ways to enter and earn entries to the Jackpot Contest using Eligible Products:

  • Enter winning and non-winning Jackpot Scratch’N Win tickets, including $100,000 Jackpot (ticket # 3215), $500,000 Jackpot (ticket # 3238) or $1 Million Jackpot (ticket # 3239) by signing in or registering for an alc.ca account at alc.ca or at 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot and click Enter Tickets on the 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot site and enter the unique 21-digit code at the bottom of the ticket. 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot will recognize that the ticket being entered is a Jackpot Scratch ’N Win ticket and the box to enter the 4-digit VAL. #/NO. will appear. The 4-digit VAL.#/NO. is located under the scratched play area of the ticket. Players will also be able to scan their ticket on 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot using their mobile device camera to enter the ticket in the draw. This action will not validate if it is a winning or non-winning lottery ticket but will confirm the number of Jackpot entries earned. Players will need to allow 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot access to their mobile device camera in order to scan the ticket on 2Chance.alc.ca/jackpot.
  • Download the Atlantic Lottery Mobile App, sign in to your alc.ca account and open the ticket checker and scan your Jackpot Scratch ’N Win tickets. If you are not signed into the Atlantic Lottery Mobile app and you scan a ticket, it will prompt you to sign in. When you successfully sign into the app, the last ticket you scanned will automatically be entered.

Every $5 of Eligible Products ticket values entered towards the progressive jackpot draw will earn a participant one (1) entry into the progressive Jackpot draw for the applicable Entry Period. Jackpot entries will be generated for participants each time a ticket is entered.

Entry values per Jackpot ticket will be as follows:

Ticket Price: Game Name: Game Number: Entries to Progressive Jackpot Draw: Progressive Grows ALC’s 2Chance Contest
$5 $100,000 Jackpot 3215 1 $1 5 entries in 2Chance Contest
$10 $500,000 Jackpot 3238 2 $2 10 entries in 2Chance Contest
$20 $1,000,000 Jackpot 3239 4 $4 20 entries in 2Chance Contest

If there is a discrepancy between ticket values submitted and entries earned, the entries earned as indicated by the system used to administer the Contest will prevail. Decisions regarding entry adjustments remain at the sole discretion of ALC.

Entries earned will be determined by the original purchase price of the Eligible Product, regardless of any discounts.

Entries cannot be:

  • Transferred to another person,
  • Redeemed or returned for cash value,
  • Represented as cash value, or
  • Purchased.
