“DECEMBER TO REMEMBER” CONTEST
DECEMBER 1 TO 31, 2023

Each day between December 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023, the “December to Remember” contest from Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) will have an offer in the form of a promotion or a contest. To be eligible, participants must have a valid alc.ca account and will be required to log into their alc.ca account each day to be able to discover the promotion or contest of the day. Participants must fully scratch off the box of the day in order for the offer to be activated.

There are three (3) components to “December to Remember”: (1) a daily promotion or daily contest; (2) a grand prize draw for one (1) of three (3) prizes of $10,000 to be drawn at the end of the promotion; and (3) a healthy play tool adoption prize draw for one (1) snowblower to be drawn at the end of the promotion. Each time a player participates in the promotion or contest of the day (box is fully scratched off and they perform the action required), participants earn one (1) entry in the grand prize draw. All daily contests, the grand prize draw and healthy play tool adoption prize draw are subject to these Official Contest Rules and the Terms & Conditions of the contest.

In addition, the promotion will offer an extra box to scratch off on five (5) specifically chosen days. The bonus boxes will grant users a second/bonus offer on that day to earn additional prizes. These boxes can be identified as the Bonus boxes.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. Participants can go to https://2chance.alc.ca/default.aspx?p=c_2ch2317_home to discover the offer of the day. A day is considered to be from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 (AT).
  2. On selected bonus days, users will have the opportunity to scratch two offers: the offer of the day as well as the Bonus box.
  3. Each day a player participates in the promotion, they earn one (1) grand prize entry (limit of one (1) entry per day).
  4. To be eligible, participants must log into their account and scratch the box of the day to reveal the offer. Participants will not receive the offer if the box of the day is not scratched. Participants do not need to make a purchase to click or tap the animated icon to reveal the offer. Participants may need to make a purchase to take advantage of promotional offers revealed in the calendar. Participants who win an alc.ca Promo Cash Code will have their code displayed along with the expiry date and it will also be stored on the participants 2Chance History page.
  5. This contest is open to residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island; who are nineteen (19) years of age or older; and reside in Atlantic Canada, with the exception of employees of Atlantic Lottery and the Agency of Record Revolve or any immediate family member of the aforementioned.
  6. Each daily offer is available for that day only from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. AT except for Retail offers. Once a Retail offer is scratched off, the offer will extend to the end of the next business day to allow players time to purchase their tickets and enter them into the contest. For example, a player scratches off Tuesday, December 5 at 11:00 p.m., the player will have until Wednesday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m. AT to enter their Retail tickets for the December 5 offer. Players will only be able to reveal the present day offer and will not be eligible for past non scratched days.
  7. *Casino games are not available to residents of Prince Edward Island.

Contest Period: The contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AT) on November 24, 2023 and closes at 11:59:59 p.m. AT on December 31, 2023.

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY

DELIVERY OF PRIZES FOR THE CONTESTS

Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) will attempt to contact the potential winner within one (1) business day after the draw (or as soon as possible thereafter). If ALC is not able to contact the potential winner after seven (7) days after initial attempt, ALC shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner, the entry drawn immediately after the disqualified entry for the prize will be eligible to win the prize that otherwise would have been awarded for the previously selected entry.

  8. By entering this contest, winners agree to allow Atlantic Lottery Corporation and its agents to publish, and/or broadcast their name, likeness, addresses, voices, statements and submitted photographs without compensation other than the prize awarded.
  9. All entries become the property of Atlantic Lottery Corporation who assume no responsibility for garbled, illegible, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No contest entries will be entered into except with entries selected as potential winners. Requests for official contest rules and regulations or names of prize winner(s) can be mailed to: Atlantic Lottery Corporation, PO Box 5500, 922 Main St., Moncton, NB, E1C 8W6 (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). ALC does/do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of ALC, in its/their sole discretion, the contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its/their control, ALC reserves its/their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend or suspend the contest including canceling any method of entry, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. ALC reserves their right to modify the official rules and regulations of this contest without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. ALC reserves their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these official rules and regulations or otherwise in a disruptive manner.
  10. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his/her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by ALC for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this contest. ALC will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this contest. ALC is committed to ensuring the privacy of its participants and taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure player information is safeguarded. In all cases, information is retained in secure facilities and protected from unauthorized access. ALC will only use or disclose player information for the specific purposes for which it was collected, unless required by law, and will only retain the information long enough to fulfill these purposes, after which time it will be securely destroyed.
  11. Atlantic Lottery Corporation is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing the December to Remember contest or awarding the prize in the event of circumstances beyond the control of Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
  12. All draws will adhere to the draw procedures established for the draw by Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
  13. These official rules govern the contest and must be followed. In the event of any discrepancy between these official rules and any other material, these rules prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
