2Chance is your second chance to turn winning and non-winning Atlantic Lottery purchases into cash and prizes. It’s easy to get in on the fun. Here’s all you need to do:

Enter Tickets

Enter winning and non-winning eligible tickets to earn contest entries into the monthly draws: All contest entries earned will be added to your unassigned entry balance.

Desktop

Manually enter tickets

To enter your tickets manually, go to the Enter Tickets page and key in the 2Chance code printed on your ticket and click ‘Submit’. If you’re entering a Scratch ’N Win ticket, you will also be prompted to key in the 4-digit VAL # found under the scratched play area on the ticket.

Mobile Device

Scan to enter tickets

To enter tickets from your mobile device, tap on ‘Enter Tickets’ and select ‘Scan Ticket’. Allow 2Chance to access your camera, then scan the barcode at the bottom of your ticket. Your scanned tickets will be automatically entered into the 2Chance contest.

Don’t forget - Your online purchases from alc.ca will be automatically entered into your contest account within 24 hours.

Pick Your Prize

Here's your chance to win one of your favourite prizes. Each month, we’ll feature three new prizes. Add your unassigned entries to your preferred prize or spread your entries out across all your favourites, the choice is yours. Here’s how to pick your prize:

Step 1

Sign In and check your 2Chance unassigned entry balance.

You can find the number of unassigned entries in the top right-hand side of the screen below the main navigation.

Step 2

Choose a prize and add entries.

Add your unassigned entries to the prize(s) you want to win simply by entering the number of entries and clicking the Add button. The number of entries you have assigned to a prize will show directly below the prize title.

Step 3

Change your mind on your prize selection?

No problem, just enter the number of entries you want to remove from that prize and click Remove. The entries will go back to your unassigned entries balance.

Visit 2Chance regularly to see the exciting prizes offered this month and to get the latest scoop on new contests, promotions and winners.

I forgot my alc.ca sign in information. Now what?

No problem. You can reset your password by going to the Forgot Password page.

Why can't I sign in? The site is not recognizing my information.

Make sure you are using the email and password associated with your alc.ca Player Account. If that is still not working, you may have entered your sign in information incorrectly. Check that you haven't made any typos and your Caps Lock is off. Also, make sure you haven't entered any spaces. If you continue to have an issue, reset your password now.

Can you send me my password?

Click the 'Forgot Password' link on the Sign In page and enter the email address for your alc.ca account. We will send you an email with a link to reset your password.

What if I need to change my phone number or other account information?

When you are signed in to your alc.ca account, click on 'My Account' and from the drop-down menu click 'My Profile' to review and update your profile information, then hit 'Update'.

What if I still can’t access my account?

How do I enter 2Chance draws?

The 2Chance contest is open to Atlantic Canadian residents 19 years of age or older who have an active and verified alc.ca account. Sign in or create an alc.ca Player Account at 2Chance.ca and enter/scan your eligible 2Chance tickets to earn contest entries (online purchases are automatically entered into your contest account within 24 hours). Visit the eligible tickets page and click on the game boxes to see how many contest entries you earn per dollars spent. Please see the Rules and Regulations for further information.

How do I know if my ticket is eligible to participate in 2Chance?

Please check the Rules and Regulations for the latest list of eligible tickets/games. Please note that eligible tickets or online games at alc.ca can be added/changed throughout the contest. All eligible Scratch ’N Win tickets can be located on alc.ca under Our Games.

How many contest entries do I earn for each ticket/game I enter into 2Chance?

There are different earn rates for the variety of tickets and games eligible for 2Chance. Those earn rates are as follows:

Eligible Scratch ’N Win tickets, draw tickets, PRO•LINE tickets & iBingo tickets: Every $1 spent = 1 contest entry

Eligible Instant Wins games on alc.ca: Every $3 spent = 1 contest entry

Eligible Casino games: Every $10 spent = 1 contest entry

How many tickets can I enter a day?

There is no ticket limit, but you are only able to enter 299 tickets per session.

How do I enter tickets using the Atlantic Lottery Mobile App?

Sign in to your Atlantic Lottery Mobile App and tap on Ticket Checker to turn the scanner on. Then place the ticket barcode inside the view finder to scan your tickets. Your scanned tickets will automatically be entered into the contest.

How do I enter tickets using the mobile web scanner?

Visit the 2Chance website on your mobile device, go to the Enter Tickets page and tap the ‘Scan Barcode’ icon. You will be asked if you allow 2Chance access to your camera; if you select ‘Allow’, simply place the ticket barcode within the camera’s range to scan your tickets. Your scanned tickets will be automatically entered into the contest.

Where is my VAL. # and ticket barcode on Scratch'N Win tickets?

The placement of the codes varies from ticket to ticket but the 21 or 23 digit code will typically be found on the bottom of the ticket and the 4-digit VAL. # will always be found under the scratched play area on the ticket.

Where is my code on draw and PRO•LINE tickets?

The 25-digit alpha-numeric code will be printed on the bottom of your draw and PRO•LINE tickets under the 2Chance logo.

How do I earn contest entries from my alc.ca account?

Contest entries from eligible online purchases made on alc.ca will be automatically entered in your 2Chance account within 24 hours of the purchase time.

When do 2Chance prize periods begin and end?

All prize draws start on the first day of the month at 12:00:00 am AT and end on the last day of the month at 11:59:59 pm AT. See Rules and Regulations for additional details.

What is a ticket bonus?

At any time, a specific eligible ticket or tickets may be in bonus mode. The dollar value of the eligible ticket will be multiplied when entered in 2Chance. Check the Promotions page regularly and sign up for emails to see if there are any tickets in bonus mode!

How do I earn contest entries into the monthly draws?

Eligible winning and non-winning Scratch'N Win tickets, draw tickets, PRO•LINE tickets and purchases made on alc.ca will earn contest entries into the monthly draws. Visit the Eligible Tickets page and click on the game boxes to see how many contest entries you earn per dollars spent. See the Rules and Regulations for details on the value and schedule of draws, and eligibility of each month’s draw.

Can I move my contest entries?

Yes, you can move your contest entries anytime until the end of the monthly contest window, which is the last day of the month at 11:59:59 pm AT.

How do I move my contest entries?

Visit the Prizes page to view the number of contest entries you have submitted into each prize draw. Add the number of contest entries you want to remove and click ‘Remove’. The contest entries will go back to unassigned entries, then you can add the entries to another prize of your choice.

How does the auto-assign feature work for the monthly prize draws?

When you auto-assign contest entries to any one of the three prize draws, all future contest entries accumulated throughout the remainder of the month will automatically be entered into your selected prize draw. You can turn off the auto-assign feature anytime during the month.

Contest entries already submitted into another prize draw before you select auto-assign will remain in that draw; if you wish to move those contest entries, you must click ‘Remove’ from one prize and then ‘Add’ to another prize.

You will need to re-set the auto-assign feature for each monthly prize draw period, as the prizes change every month.

What happens to my contest entries if they are not assigned to a prize draw?

Contest entries not assigned into a monthly draw will carry over to the following month. However, if you have not assigned any entries for 12 consecutive months, all of your contest entries will expire at the end of the 12 month period. For more details see Rules & Regulations.

How will I know when my contest entries are about to expire?

The History Page will include a warning message for entries set to expire.
You will see an alert beside your 2Chance Unassigned Entries count at the top of the page, 30 days prior to your entries expiring.
The Prizes page will include a warning message for entries set to expire.
An email notification will be sent to the email address listed on your alc.ca account 30 days prior to your unassigned entries expiring.

Expiry Alert – I assigned my entries, why do I still see an alert?

The expiry alert will be removed from your account on the first day of the following month.

What kind of prizes can I win?

Do I need to keep my tickets to show when I claim a prize?

Participants are not required to show tickets in order to claim or redeem contest prizes. Winners will be required to follow the winner's process whereby proof of residency and identification will be required, and must match the contest registration information.

How and when will winners be contacted?

2Chance potential winners will be contacted by telephone or from the email address AtlanticLotteryWinners@alc.ca within one week of the current draw, or as soon as possible thereafter. The winners are required to complete prize documentation and provide proof of identity (age and province of residence) before they are determined to be eligible. All winners must return any documentation, emails or calls within a specific time period to remain eligible to win a prize. For full details, check the Rules and Regulations.
